Two major approaches are used to clean a DPF – active regeneration and servicing. Lively regeneration utilizes the vehicle’s exhaust warmth and diesel fuel to burn from the accumulated particulate issue while jogging.To maintain effectiveness a DPF should be emptied regularly.  This is generally performed passively in the method called 'regene
